about ben chambers

Currently residing and working from Brisvegas, Australia.

Ben Chambers has worked in a range of previous jobs including graphic design, desktop publishing, search engine optimisation and freelance cartooning. These jobs have allowed him to gain skills in these areas, which he has used to illustrate a book, design book covers, logos, complete other projects and much more!

The reason Ben got into web design was simple - there are too many ugly websites out there! It's time to get out the paints and colour the web to make it look good again.

Getting Personal

Leaving work aside for a moment - in his spare time, Ben enjoys a variety of suitably nerdy hobbies. These hobbies include (and are not limited to) tabletop wargaming (moving little models around), video games (moving little pixels around), movies (watching other stuff moving around) and martial arts (actually moving himself around).

He's a relatively quiet guy (pronounced "the quiet achiever" during his schooling days). When he's not working, Ben is often found playing some form of popular multiplayer computer game online (view his steam profile if you want to know more).

What is Galveraxe?

'Galveraxe' was created by Ben Chambers in his grade 5 school library in 1994. How he came up with the name has been long forgotten but it has stuck with him ever since to be used as an alias for online games and as a character in a fantasy novel that he started writing.

Galveraxe.com used to be just a place for Ben to display his cartoons and work, but it is now that plus a place where he can offer his services to others (Web Design, Cartoons, Image Manipulation and more!).
